Welcome to Rumburgh
Halesworth is the nearest market town just 5 minutes from the village. There are a good variety of independent foodie shops, Focus Organic, butchers, greengrocers, antiques, art gallery, clothes shops etc and there is a market each Wednesday. There is a Library, and usual banks and Post Office. You can walk around the town and along by the river, into the Millenium Green and enjoy the much-acclaimed Halesworth in Bloom. Free car parking in the centre of town for an hour too.
Fifteen minutes further drive east you will find yourself at the coast at Southwold or twenty minutes north and you reach Beccles and the start of the Norfolk Broads.
What you need to know about Rumburgh:
A quiet village with a local pub, the Buck, which offers a warm welcome.
Numerous footpaths and cycle routes from here, a great base to explore inland villages like the Saints with St Peter's Brewery and the Minster a must! Drive east to the coast at Southwold or head for Beccles and the start of the Norfolk Broads.
