Guest reviews

  • “Our second stay in Lavender Cottage. Mary is most welcoming, and a great source of local information, as well as homegrown vegetables! The cottage is comfortable with the most wonderful of views, and a garden to truly relax in. Ideally located for the beautiful heritage coast, and surrounding villages. Walks straight from the front door, including the local pub...what more could you ask for.” L & NT and Nancy the dog September 2021.
  • We had a lovely week in Lavender Cottage.  The cottage itself is superb, so tastefully done with everything we needed.  Very peaceful location for perfect relaxation.  We visited Minsmere, Hen Reedbeds, Dunwich Beach/Heath, Southwold and Aldeburgh where we had an excellent meal in the Regatta restaurant. Mary was most welcoming – we will definitely be going back! S J-H July 2021

  • I had a lovely stay again, despite getting soaked a couple of times on walks! But thank you, and thanks to Mary and John. AS July and October 2020

  • We enjoyed our stay in Lavender Cottage, and would happily book with you again. I won't be signing up to your newsletter as I already have too many emails. That said, we know where to come when we want to book again in Suffolk. NB September 2020

  • We did enjoy our holiday and thank you so much for all your kindness. We’ve all very much fallen for your part of Suffolk and hope to see you again soon, in whatever combinations we come! HW August 2020
