The village pub is a popular local freehouse. The charming church has a very pretty round tower and a thatched roof. There’s a great farm shop with cafe in nearby Middleton, and another busy pub in neighbouring Eastbridge, all accessible on foot or bike as well as by road. Leiston Abbey, and RSPB Minsmere are both just two miles down the road, and the village is in a great central location for exploring up and down the Suffolk coast. There are numerous villages and places to visit all within 30 minutes drive, such as Snape, Orford, Woodbridge,sutton Hoo and to the north Westleton, Wenhaston (famous for its Church and the Doom painting), Blythburgh, Covehythe and much more..
